Overview:
Body Language  

 

In communications there have been an enormous number of studies that show body actions and reactions are more important in face to face communications than the words used. More is communicated by body movement than by the message!  

 

In this segment we will participant in several experiments to get a better understanding of how we perceive body language and what it could be telling us. We will also examine proxemics, the study of space and room and how to use it. Many times a simple seating arrangement can completely change the outcome of a situation.  

 

Objective: To gain an understanding of body language and proxemics so as to better use them for communication and persuasion.  

 

Results: Participants are more aware of their own as well as other people’s body language and position which will help them to evaluate and adjust to the situation.
